What is Powder Ombre Brow PMU(Permanent makeup)?

Ombré is a French term meaning “having tones of color that shade into each other, graduating from light to dark”. This procedure uses a machine gun with a single needle and deposits ink under the “epidermis” layer of the skin to create a powder finish. Powder Ombré is ideal for clients who wear makeup on a daily basis and prefer lighter heads (front of the brows) and darker tails (end of the brow).   All skin types work well with this method.

Will it be painful?

Pain level is different for everyone. The pain can be described as the feeling of getting your eyebrows threaded. Majority of people claim that there is only slight discomfort during the outline (because there is no numbing) (outline takes about 10 minutes) but no discomfort through the rest (shading and filling in of the brows as numbing is applied throughout)

Will my eyebrows change colour/ stay forever?

A lot of people see older ladies with different colour eyebrows (red, blue, green, purple). This is because in the past body tattoo ink was used on the facial area. Black ink was usually used in the past. Black is made with different colours so over time your body will absorb different colours and leave your eyebrows with one shade (blue, green, purple, red, etc.).

Now, permanent makeup has changed and the pigment used is organic ink and stays true to its colour. I use tina davies permablend pigments which is very high quality (been tested numerous times). The pigment is also implanted in the epidermis of the skin (not the dermis where the ink for permanent body tattoos are implanted) therefore lasts 2-3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle. Once the permanent makeup fades, it will fade to a lighter colour of the colour initially given.

I've had my eyebrows tattooed in the past. Could I still get them done?

I may be able to cover them up depending on the case. Please send a clear photo of your eyebrows to see if you're a good candidate. Please note that cover-ups are an extra charge.

Is everything clean / sanitized?

Sanitation is my number one priority. All needles used are sterilized, sealed in package, one-time use and disposable. I use many protective measures to avoid cross-contamination such as barrier film, saran wrap, clip cord sleeves, disposable bed covers, etc. that are changed after every client. After each client, I Cavi-wipe down all surfaces to disinfect. I am also bloodborne pathogens certified. Please feel free to ask me any questions or ask for a rundown on my full sanitation routine.
